Who this covers

This policy covers bitsized.be and how Bitsized handles personal data when you visit the site, email us or book a call. The data controller is Bitsized, registered in Belgium under company number BE 1010.028.831. You can reach us at hello@bitsized.be.

What we collect

  • Our hosting provider may record standard server logs, such as your IP address, browser type and the pages requested. These logs are used for security and abuse prevention.
  • We do not use analytics or advertising cookies on this site.
  • If you email us or book a call, we receive the information you choose to share. This will usually include your name, email address and a short description of the problem you want to discuss.

Booking a call

The booking calendar on our contact page is provided by Cal.com. The calendar loads from Cal.com when you open that page, so Cal.com may receive technical information such as your IP address and browser details before you make a booking. If you book, Cal.com also processes the name, email address and notes you enter under its own privacy policy. Bitsized receives the booking details needed to prepare for and hold the call.

Why we use it

  • To read, assess and respond to your enquiry.
  • To prepare for and hold a scheduled call.
  • To deliver a proposal, build or support service you have asked for.

We do not sell personal data, and we do not use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry and call details only as long as needed to respond. If we work together, we may keep relevant records for the engagement and for any period required by Belgian accounting and tax law. We delete information that is no longer needed.

Your rights

Under the GDPR, you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal data, restrict how it is used or object to its use. Email hello@bitsized.be and we will respond as required by law. You can also complain to the Belgian Data Protection Authority (Gegevensbeschermingsautoriteit / Autorité de protection des données).

Changes

If this policy changes materially, we will update the date at the top of this page.
